That this year Marli (founder of PH) was able to meet with and encourage PH staff, intercessors, listeners, donors and political leaders in Albania, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Germany, India, Kenya, Norway, South Africa, Sweden and Turkey.

That PH’s Malayalam (India), Makhuwa (Mozambique) and Swahili (Kenya, Tanzania) WoH programs began airing this year. Praise the Lord for the new languages in development: Amharic (Ethiopia), Danish, Dari, Gujarati (India), Berber-Kabyle (Algeria), KaraKalpak, Romanian, South African English, Swedish, Turkish and Uyghur.

For 70 people who received Christ during an evangelistic meeting in Abobo (one of the poorest areas of Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire) They were invited to join a PH prayer group. God provided a truck full of rice and beef for this community when the First Lady of Côte d’Ivoire contacted Macy Domingo, PH’s Côte d’Ivoire coordinator.

For PH’s faithful intercessors as they end the annual 40-day season of prayer and fasting today. As Project Hannah intercessors pray in over 100 countries using the monthly prayer guides, which are distributed in 36 languages, they participate with God in His work around the world.

For providing funding and a partner to begin one full year of WoH Dari production for the women of Afghanistan. Also, praise Him for the groups seriously considering committing to ongoing funding for WoH Dari translations, production and air time.

For Ros Atkinson’s expertise in training new script writers for the WoH programme. Pray for these women from India and South Africa as they work together to provide scripts that will be translated and produced in over 45 languages.

That many South African women will join in support of each other and the hundreds of PH prayer groups around the world. God answers as people are saved, healed and building godly homes. Husbands are returning to their homes, and lives are being changed.

That families have been strengthened and restored through the WoH lessons and the prayer groups. Rejoice for babies saved from abortion and for husbands who no longer abuse their wives. Pray for those who are caring for the sick (including those with HIV), the widows and orphans. A PH prayer group in Mozambique helps a widow who is HIV positive by helping her and her children.

That through WoH, isolated Christians are receiving knowledge and encouragement from the Word of God. A Cambodian woman writes: “This programme has been an encouragement to me. I have learned to be patient and to show love toward my family and neighbors even though they hate me because I am a Christian. Your programme has helped me through my difficulties. Now I can walk bravely in the Lord.”

For listeners in prisons whose lives have been changed as prayer groups reach out to them. “I was sentenced to 10 years of prison. The PH women ministered God’s Word to me and prayed for me. After only 10 months I was out of prison. Today my family and I are Christians and have a prayer group in our house.”

For the work God is doing through groups who are demanding the end of funding with U.S. taxpayer dollars to groups like Planned Parenthood in a cry to protect innocent babies. Though about 13% of American women are black, new federal figures show they account for 35% of the abortions (CBSNews.com). The 683,294 aborted Black babies in 2005 is the equivalent of killing more than the entire African-American population of Oakland, California, Washington, D.C. and Atlanta, Georgia combined (World, 2008).

That domestic violence, rape, “honor-killings,” abortion of girl babies and other acts of violence against females are being exposed around the world by the media. Continue to pray that leaders will be encouraged to prosecute offenders and offer help to victims of these horrible acts.

That many sex traffickers, abusers, and porn promoters are being arrested and sent to prison. Pray that governments will continue to punish them and that the media and communities will expose these horrible acts. Pray that the victims will get the protection and care that they need.

For the intercessors who faithfully pray month after month, year after year, even when it seems that our prayers are not answered. The Lord God answered Habakkuk’s question, “How long?” with, “Look at the nations and watch and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe even if you were told” (Habakkuk 1:5).
