That through WoH, isolated Christians are receiving knowledge and encouragement from the Word of God. A Cambodian woman writes: “This programme has been an encouragement to me. I have learned to be patient and to show love toward my family and neighbors even though they hate me because I am a Christian. Your programme has helped me through my difficulties. Now I can walk bravely in the Lord.”

For listeners in prisons whose lives have been changed as prayer groups reach out to them. “I was sentenced to 10 years of prison. The PH women ministered God’s Word to me and prayed for me. After only 10 months I was out of prison. Today my family and I are Christians and have a prayer group in our house.”

For the work God is doing through groups who are demanding the end of funding with U.S. taxpayer dollars to groups like Planned Parenthood in a cry to protect innocent babies. Though about 13% of American women are black, new federal figures show they account for 35% of the abortions (CBSNews.com). The 683,294 aborted Black babies in 2005 is the equivalent of killing more than the entire African-American population of Oakland, California, Washington, D.C. and Atlanta, Georgia combined (World, 2008).

That domestic violence, rape, “honor-killings,” abortion of girl babies and other acts of violence against females are being exposed around the world by the media. Continue to pray that leaders will be encouraged to prosecute offenders and offer help to victims of these horrible acts.

For opportunities for PH’s ministry to be introduced at ministry conferences and to government officials around the world. Over 30 intercessors from 20 countries joined PH’s prayer ministry after being introduced to the ministry at the Haggai Institute in Singapore.

For changed lives through PH’s ministries to unwed mothers. Pray for the Filipino staff as they show God’s love to young mothers who have no one else to turn to and as they give them advice for building a better future.
