Women affected by abortion

Women have been lied to. Mothers are harmed physically and emotionally by abortions. The unborn child is not mass of tissue. The baby is a human being, created in the image of God. This innocent human baby should be protected from anyone who may want to harm him/her. Those who do not value the dignity of mothers or the life of the unborn child have been lying and passing laws that support their deceit for far too long.

By the time most women begin to believe they may be pregnant, around 5 weeks, the baby’s nervous system has started to develop, which includes the baby’s brain and spinal cord. At the same time, the heart is forming. By weeks six to seven the heart begins to beat.

Just 12 weeks after conception, though very tiny, the baby is fully formed. It has all its organs, muscles, limbs and bones. From now on it will grow and mature. By about 14 weeks the heartbeat is strong.

The baby is growing quickly. At 24 weeks, the baby has a chance of survival if it is born in a hospital with proper equipment. More and more babies born early do survive, some even earlier than 24 weeks.

By 33-36 weeks the baby’s brain and nervous system are fully developed and the bones are starting to harden. By week 40 the baby is ready to be born.

Over 50 million unborn babies have been killed by abortion this year worldwide, and many of the mothers have been suffering physically and emotionally as a result of these abortions. Pray with us that mothers will no longer believe the lies and that they will protect their unborn children.
